Skype "Stay Together Stories"

San Francisco agency Pereira & O'Dell took on this great project for Skype, filming both sides of an international video chat and telling the story of people who stay connected over great distances. I mixed the videos for Lindsey and Julie. The Lindsey video is great because of all the Australian animals! For this piece, we actually recorded voice-over from Lindsey and mixed it with her on-camera monologue.
Check out the Skype homepage for this campaign to learn more, and watch videos from the other "portraits."

"Forever Love" by Easystreet - the theme song of Frameline 37!

Easystreet was asked to compose an original song for this year's Frameline Film Festival - the longest-running, largest and most widely recognized LGBT film exhibition event in the world. The music was placed in a short trailer that runs before each of the festival's over 200 films, at three different theaters around San Francisco. I worked with Easystreet to produce the track, recording electronic instruments, vocals, and mixing the final song. Always a lot of fun working with this group! They are overflowing with disco energy, sparkles, and bright colors. Hear the full song, and the bonus remix of their smash hit "I Love Your Sexy Movie" together on Easystreet's Bandcamp page.

Fruitvale ADR

I had the pleasure of working with first-time feature film director Ryan Coogler and his sound team from Skywalker Sound, recording all the dialog replacement for the upcoming release. The film is great, dramatic and very touching. There's no trailer or official webpage yet, but the press is all over this film. Here's Fruitvale's IMDB Page, and Facebook Page. UPDATE: Fruitvale swept everyone off their feet at Sundance Film Festival, and scored a $2.5 Million distribution deal with the Weinsteins! Very Exciting!

Tracing Figures EP - San Francisco Rock Band!

This band have been friends of mine for a long time, so it was great to work with them. We recorded the basics at Tiny Telephone Studios, and I mixed in my home studio. It was a dramatic situation for the band, because their vocalist is leaving the group. They even captured the story in a documentary-style video about the process and the people. The EP is available for download on the Tracing Figures Bandcamp Page.

Jonathan Pryce for GI JOE: Retaliation

I had the pleasure of working with Jonathan Pryce on the next GI JOE movie. We were recording dialog replacement for the a scene near the end of the movie! It was very exciting. Non-disclosur-ifically exciting!
